Description

‘Are Ya Dancin?’ is a piece of the country brought to Dublin City once a month. Dancer and fiddle player Louise O’Connor was inspired to start these nights because her parents met at a social dance in rural County Clare in the 70’s when her father asked her mother that very question.

It’s a night of live music and craic: an Irish College style Céilí with a brilliant live band, and Céilí Dances like Ionsaí na hInse instructed in English and Irish.

The next Céilí takes place on July 14th in The Teachers Club, Parnell Square with set dancing 7.30-8.15 and the Live Music Céilí afterwards with Céilí dances, Set dancing and a few songs also. Sean nós dancers (and dancers of all types) are invited to step it out in between the dances.

There is no experience or partners required. General Admission €15 – Student/Unemployed €12
